The story behind the film

Filming Samantha & Bryan’s vineyard Love Story was an absolute blast. No matter where these two are, you can tell they make the situation a party. And while it’s clear why they latched onto one another, the story of how they met isn’t exactly the same.

One place Samantha & Bryan told me they often find themselves is at wineries, so we decided to film their Love Story at Belle Vinez in River Falls, WI. This was filmed before their wedding so they could play it at their wedding in front of friends and family, and also so they could have something to show their new friends when they moved to California shortly after the ceremony.

But instead of long, romantic walks through the vineyard, it was the candid moments dancing and breaking into song that really symbolized how well these two went together. So I ended up using a lot of behind-the-scenes footage because it was far more natural, relaxed and fun, just like the couple themselves.

So whether they’re drinking wine in Wisconsin or in California, it’s pretty obvious these two are going to be doing it with the same, goofy, outgoing nature they bring with them wherever they go.
